Dior Luminous Graphic Eye Palette - Rosewood Glow

Luminous Graphic Eye Palette
Eyeshadow, highlighter and liner

What it says:

Within the exclusive 3 Couleurs Glow sliding case lies the secret to naturally luminous, dramatic and couture eyes. In 3 easy steps, our 3 new-generation fusion formulas enhance your eyes with nude or pastel shades, a highlighter and a liner to define them.

1. A satiny nude eyeshadow with an ultra-fine texture melts into the skin. Apply to eyelid and blend.

2. A highlighter with a wet-look finish illuminates the eyes. Dab on the center of the eyelid and the inner and outer corners of the eye.
3. A powder liner is applied to the upper lash line to define the eyes and create the ultimate fashion touch.

Dior Luminous Graphic Eye Palette

Included in this sleek Dior palette is 3 different textured, wearable, natural eyeshadows that are soft and sheer when you want them to be. With more layering they can become slightly more pigmented. The palette itself is quite small but it is great for creating a subtle, smokey eye. I love the colours and they are perfect to wear everyday. The highlight colour is not glittery, but adds a nice shimmer. It's handy having three usable colours in one palette, including a matte black liner, which can be used wet or dry.
£35 for 5.5g.

Guerlain Météorites Perles Du Paradis

Illuminating Sparkling Powder

I have had these Météorites since last year as they are from the Guerlain Spring Collection 2013. There are six different pastel and skintone shades which come in a larger than average size cardboard pot (53g) which sit pretty on your dressing table. These pretty pearls are highly scented of violets and add a subtle glow that is not overly sparkly. The pink pearls brighten dull areas and the silver reflect light.

You can apply these pearls lightly all over the face but I like to add a slight shimmer over my blush to add the glow. I find you have to use this product with a large powder/blush brush as the pearls are large and to make sure you don't lose any from the pot. Although the pot is expensive (£43) the actual product itself will last a long time and it's not something I use everyday.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Review

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

What it says:
Intensive, super-moisturizing pre-shampoo treatment for all hair types. Adds elasticity, manageability, bounce and shine. Suitable for use on colour treated hair.

Fine

Fine, limp or flyaway hair feels thin in texture and lacks natural body and bounce. Fine hair can be straight or wavy and is typical of Caucasian hair types.

Medium

Medium hair is usually plentiful and does not lack in volume. It can be straight or wavy and often requires moisture at the ends.

Coarse

Coarse hair can be rough in texture and it may feel like you have a lot of it. It's likely to be hard to control and can be straight or curly and frizzy. This includes Asian hair, natural red heads and mixed race hair.

African-Caribbean

Most African-Caribbean hair feels very coarse in texture and includes those with extremely porous, tight curls and all variations of African-Caribbean, African and some Middle Eastern and Mediterranean hair types. It is very hard to control and lacks smoothness and shine.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Directions

I decided I needed to try this award winning product in a last ditched attempt after other serums and conditioners were having little to no effect on my knotty, dry and split end damaged hair.

To apply I wet my hair and towel dried slightly. I applied a generous amount of the product starting from the roots through to the ends and combed through with my fingers. I left it on for around 3 hours as I wanted to see if the product would really work as my hair is quite thick and long.

I then rinsed it out and was immediately surprised at how soft my hair felt. It literally felt like silk! I used my normal shampoo and conditioner, then towel dried and blow dried. My hair was also really smooth so it was easier to brush through with my Michel Mercier detangling brush for thick hair. My hair feels so lightweight, is shinier than usual and is less dry. I still have a few split ends but hopefully with continued use of this product they will be gone! I am amazed at the difference after just one use and highly recommend this product.
