Soap and Glory Girl-O-Whirl Makeup Set

I really wanted to try this Soap and Glory makeup set as not only is it currently a great price (£19! normally £40) but I have never really tried any Soap and Glory makeup, only the Thick & Fast mascara from a previous gift set. Last year I bought the Best of All set that contained nine brilliant body products such as the shower gel and scrub and two makeup products.

The main item I have wanted to try from their makeup range is the gloss stick in the colour nudist. The gloss stick is moisturising and not sticky like a gloss. It provides a nice pink colour that is quite sheer when applied. It makes your lips look smooth and smells quite nice too! 

The set also contains 6 eyeshadows (plus brush), 6 lipsticks (plus lip brush), a bronzer, a luminizing face powder and a powder brush. I didn't think I would be impressed with the eyeshadows or lipstick shades, but I am surprised as they are all wearable colours. I am also really impressed with the bronzer and luminizing face powder as both are light to wear and you are able to build up the colour. The bronzer is also particularly good as it doesn't look orange at all and is easy to wear, even in winter. The only annoying thing about this set is the packaging, however I am going to remove mine from the plastic and put the eyeshadows, lipsticks, bronzer and powder in their own palette.
